How to access it
Modules > TIPP > Workspaces > Item Snapshot
Fields and controls
- Division and Backoffice Type: Filters ensuring the item is read from the correct company and ERP.
- Item filter: Lookup or entry field for the item number.
- Warehouse/Location: Optional filter to focus on one site.
- Stock Status: Card summarizing overall availability.
- Inventory by Bin: Grid listing bin level quantities and serial or lot info.
- Inventory Projection: Calculates future availability based on supply and demand.
- Demand Planning: Shows open demand such as sales orders.
- Supply Planning: Shows open supply such as purchase or production orders.
- Most recent workflow/documents: Lists related activity for quick access.
- Refresh/Close: Standard workspace controls.
Step-by-step usage
- Choose the Division and Backoffice Type, then search for the item you need.
- Select the relevant warehouse or leave it blank for all locations and click Refresh.
- Review the Stock Status and Inventory by Bin cards to confirm current balances.
- Use the projection, demand, and supply panels to understand future availability before committing to customers.
Common questions
- Q: Why do bin rows repeat? A: The grid shows one row per location-bin combination, so multi bin items will list multiple rows.
- Q: Can I jump to related workflows? A: Yes, use the Most recent workflow section to open the transaction in Synergy.
