What was new compared with 1.0

The 1.1 series added the first major layer of AI-assisted workspace support and page-aware help. It also improved the installation/version-check experience and tightened security around AI and dataset access.

  • TIPP Help widget and page-aware help chat
  • WordPress KB grounding for page-specific help answers
  • Explicit page keys for workspace pages so help works inside Synergy frames
  • Workspace AI buttons and inline AI chat modal support
  • Multi-section workspace context so AI can answer from the data shown on workspace pages
  • AI Datasets maintenance pages, including dataset security and role filtering
  • Large-dataset text-to-SQL mode for custom datasets
  • Version check on the TIPP License page using GitHub Releases
  • Update banner links pointing users to the TIPP update page
  • Security fixes around SQL injection, API key exposure, static session bleed, and document filtering
  • Workspace localization support added in the 1.1.1 line

Workspace improvements

A lot of the 1.1 work focused on making TIPP workspaces more useful with AI. Workspace pages gained shared AI button behavior, better context saving, first-load fixes, display-name cleanup, and localized captions.

  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Payable Detail
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Receivable Detail
  • Customer Service and Customer Snapshot
  • Finance, Inventory, Item Snapshot, Purchase, Shipping, Shop Floor, Springboard, Vendor Snapshot
  • AP and AR Visual Trace pages

Which package to use

If a customer specifically needs the 1.1 line, use v1.1.1 because it is the latest package in the 1.1 series. For normal updates, use the latest available TIPP release instead.

Upgrade guidance

Customers on older releases should review the current release notes and update to the latest available TIPP version where possible.

Note on historical release notes

This page was backfilled from the commit history because the original GitHub releases for 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 did not include detailed customer-facing release notes.
